Delete Your Account

Effective date: July 17, 2026

You can delete your FishHogs account and its associated data at any time. A FishHogs account is optional — all chart, GPS, and marker features work without one — but if you created an account to sync your markers and catches or to use Groups & Sharing, this page explains how to remove it and what happens to your data.

Delete from within the app (recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is from the FishHogs mobile app:

  1. Open the FishHogs app on your device.
  2. Go to Settings (the gear icon).
  3. Scroll to the account section and tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm when prompted.

Your account and its server-side data are then permanently deleted as described below. You do not need to contact us.

Request deletion by email

If you have already removed the FishHogs app from your device but still hold a FishHogs account with server-side data, or you are unable to use the in-app option for any reason, you can request account and data deletion by email. Send a message to support@ndl.cc from the email address associated with your account, and we will process your deletion request. We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before deleting it.

What is deleted and what is retained

When you delete your FishHogs account, your Firestore account data — your account profile and entitlement status and your synced markers and catches — is permanently deleted within 30 days. Content you have already shared into a group (such as shared markers, catches, and group chat messages) may remain with that group; you can remove shared items or leave the group to stop sharing before deleting your account. Locally cached authentication data is cleared immediately upon sign-out. Markers stored on your device are not affected by account deletion and remain under your control.
